Mr. Jones 2 (DD1 DD2)

Mr. Jones was pretty confused, but also really excited with how the meeting with Mr. Bell went. He headed out to his car, but realized he forgot to talk to Mr. Bell about commission, and pay. Mr. Jones went back inside to talk to Mr. Bell. He knocked on the door and Mr. Bell answered and invited him back inside. Mr. Jones told him how he forgot about payment. Mr. Bell asked what his price was, but Mr. Jones wasn't sure, so he asked Mr. Bell what he thought a fair price was, but Mr. Bell wasn't sure either. Mr. Bell had a quote from the year before from the same firm, so he went in folder and looked at the price. The price on the page was 1500 dollars, but Mr. Bell thought that Mr. Jones deserved a little bit more than that for making it so easy and achieving everything he wanted. Plus money wasn't that big of an issue for Mr. Bell. He decided to give Mr. Jones 2 thousand dollars because he was so excited on how it turned out. This was the best news Mr. Jones has heard all day. He was really excited. He thanked Mr. Bell and headed back to his firm. He walked into his firm with the biggest smile on his face, but that smile was soon wiped off by his boss Mr. Miller. Mr. Jones told Mr. Miller all about what happened when he walked into his office, but unlike Mr. Jones, Mr. Miller was not pleased. Mr. Miller asked if Mr. Bell invested in his firm. Mr. Jones asked what he was talking about. Mr. Miller told him that all clients have to invest a little bit of money into the company. Without the investments Mr. Miller wouldn't be making any money. Mr. Miller asked how much Mr. Jones was paid. Mr. Jones told him two thousand. Mr. Miller was outraged that he asked a client so much, but Mr. Jones told him that he offered and insisted that he takes that price. Mr. Miller didn't believe him because of all the other people that have went to talk to Mr. Bell. Mr. Miller asked Mr. Jones how he managed to ever plan with Mr. Bell. Mr. Jones told him that he let Mr. Bell pick out what he wanted and that he made it work for Mr. Bell. Mr. Miller didn’t believe him at all. This was bad for Mr. Jones because he got fired. Mr. Miller told him that he had to pack his things and get out because he was terminated. Mr. Jones went from having a great day to an awful day. On his way out Mr. Miller told him no matter what happened with Mr. Bell he was going to fire him anyways. This added insult to injury because Mr. Jones went and did the impossible and still got fired. Mr. Jones made it back to his little apartment and slumped up in a ball and didn’t know what he was going to do. The only money he had that wasn’t already spent on bills was the two thousand. He thought that was a pretty good amount of money, but he wasn’t sure how he was going to survive. He stayed the next few days inside and tried to figure out a plan. The only problem is he didn’t have one. The best thing he could think of doing was going out the next day and looking for a temporary job. He was walking around the mall getting applications when Mr. Bell saw him and asked him what he was doing. Mr. Jones explained the whole story to him. This surprised Mr. Bell because he thought Mr. Jones was one of the best at the firm. He felt bad, so he offered Mr. Jones a job. What Mr. Jones didn’t know is that Mr. Bell was the owner of a law firm in town. Mr. Jones very gladly accepted the job.

Mr. Jones. (CC1 CC2)

Mr. Jones was your average everyday guy. He had a simple 9-5 day job. He was an accountant at a small firm. He didn't work too much with clients. He was more or less a stock boy, but then one day he got the call from his boss saying it was time for him to try to help a client invest their money, and help them plan their future. The only thing that Mr. Jones didn't know is that his client was known as the hardest man to crack. Nobody in the firm could ever reason with him or get him to understand what to do with his money. Mr. Jones was more than excited for his first actual client. He packed up his suit case with all the files he needed without looking at them and he headed out. He arrived at the client's house a little early, so he sat in the driveway looking over the files. Once he read the name he got really confused and somewhat upset because he knew it was the man who wouldn't reason with anybody, so he called his boss. As his boss was answering the client pulled in and knocked on his window. Mr. Jones was startled so he hung up the phone and got out of the car and introduced himself. They went through the normal introduction, and the client invited him inside. Mr. Jones had no idea how he was going to tackle this because he has never had a client before, so he was starting to get really nervous. Mr. Jones pulled out the files from the briefcase and read the name again "Jeremy Bell." Mr. Jones asked Mr. Bell what he wanted to do with his money and where he saw himself in the next couple of years. Mr. Bell was quite surprised with the change. All of the other people that have come to see him always told him what to do and told him now. Mr. Bell explained how he makes a good amount of money a year, and what his bills were. Mr. Jones put it all together and figured out how much was left over for Mr. Bell to invest or spend as he would like. Mr. Bell really liked this because it was what he wanted to do and not what someone else wanted him to do. Mr. Bell explained that he wanted a new car, something nicer than his current car. His current car was a 2008 Nissan 350z. He bought the car brand new and paid it all off already. Mr. Bell asked Mr. Jones if he could sell his current car and purchase a new one with a payment plan if that would work for him. Mr. Jones asked what Mr. Bell wanted. He said he wanted a 2014 Subaru Wrx Sti. The price of this car was kind of high, but Mr. Bell really wanted it. Mr. Jones started looking through his past bills and everything to see if he ever missed a payment on anything and if he had good credit. The files said that he has never missed anything once. All his bills were paid on time and that he never had missed a payment for anything. This made things so much easier for Mr. Jones because he could tell Mr. Bell he could get away with doing that. It wasn’t the best idea, but if that’s what he wanted to do, he could get away with it without changing his current lifestyle. This was music to Mr. Bell’s ears. Mr. Bell shook Mr. Jones’s hand and thanked him.

The Dog. (BB1 BB2)

There was once a man who never knew what he wanted to do. He would always try to go out and do something, but he could never fully commit to it. He would try everything at least once, but that didn't help him in every circumstance. He could never give something his full effort. He had many jobs, but he would get fired because he didn't try hard enough according to his various employers. This was the most stressful thing for him. He wanted to be a good worker and he wanted to help people, but he just couldn't pull himself to do it. He talked to many different doctors trying to figure out if he had some sort of disorder. They all told him that he was just lazy, but that wasn't good enough for him because he always tried to and it wouldn't work. He would do everything he could pull himself to do, but once he started to try he would slowly lose motivation and give up. If something wouldn't work for him on the first try he would just give up. This pattern was slowly breaking him down. He wasn't sure how much longer he could go through with this feeling. He needed some way to either get him over the feeling he gets or something or someone to cheer him up. Since no doctors could help him out he decided he'd be better off finding some way to cheer himself up, so he went to the store and bought some dog food and a few dog food dishes to hold the food. He figured that if he got a dog that would make him happy because dogs always make people happy. The next day he went to the dog pound and looked at the dogs. He wanted an older dog that's already been trained, but then he saw this German Shepard puppy that was about 8 months old. This was the cutest thing he has ever seen. He instantly fell in love. The puppy ran right up to him and jumped into his lap. This was the moment he knew that he wanted the puppy. He talked to the owner and asked how much the puppy would cost. The owner saw that the man looked pretty sad, so the owner said he could just take the puppy, and the pound would pay for the medical bills. This was the best news he has heard in a while. Not only did he get a best friend, but everything was paid for and all that he had to do was train the puppy. He had no idea what to name her. The best name he could think of for the puppy was Cynthia because not many people would think of naming a dog Cynthia. He trained Cynthia the best that he could. This was very difficult for him because he didn't know anything about raising a dog. The struggle of raising the puppy helped make the man slowly but surely got over his problem about commitment and giving up. So his thought about buying the dog to cheer him up turned out to do more than just that. It put him in a good mood, gave him a best friend, and got him over his problems of giving up and losing jobs. He got a steady job at the dog pound actually and he decided that since the owner provided the dog for free if someone really wanted a puppy, but couldn't pay for it he would pay for the puppy to try and help that person. The moral of the story is never give up and buy a dog.
