The Dog. (BB1 BB2)

There was once a man who never knew what he wanted to do. He would always try to go out and do something, but he could never fully commit to it. He would try everything at least once, but that didn't help him in every circumstance. He could never give something his full effort. He had many jobs, but he would get fired because he didn't try hard enough according to his various employers. This was the most stressful thing for him. He wanted to be a good worker and he wanted to help people, but he just couldn't pull himself to do it. He talked to many different doctors trying to figure out if he had some sort of disorder. They all told him that he was just lazy, but that wasn't good enough for him because he always tried to and it wouldn't work. He would do everything he could pull himself to do, but once he started to try he would slowly lose motivation and give up. If something wouldn't work for him on the first try he would just give up. This pattern was slowly breaking him down. He wasn't sure how much longer he could go through with this feeling. He needed some way to either get him over the feeling he gets or something or someone to cheer him up. Since no doctors could help him out he decided he'd be better off finding some way to cheer himself up, so he went to the store and bought some dog food and a few dog food dishes to hold the food. He figured that if he got a dog that would make him happy because dogs always make people happy. The next day he went to the dog pound and looked at the dogs. He wanted an older dog that's already been trained, but then he saw this German Shepard puppy that was about 8 months old. This was the cutest thing he has ever seen. He instantly fell in love. The puppy ran right up to him and jumped into his lap. This was the moment he knew that he wanted the puppy. He talked to the owner and asked how much the puppy would cost. The owner saw that the man looked pretty sad, so the owner said he could just take the puppy, and the pound would pay for the medical bills. This was the best news he has heard in a while. Not only did he get a best friend, but everything was paid for and all that he had to do was train the puppy. He had no idea what to name her. The best name he could think of for the puppy was Cynthia because not many people would think of naming a dog Cynthia. He trained Cynthia the best that he could. This was very difficult for him because he didn't know anything about raising a dog. The struggle of raising the puppy helped make the man slowly but surely got over his problem about commitment and giving up. So his thought about buying the dog to cheer him up turned out to do more than just that. It put him in a good mood, gave him a best friend, and got him over his problems of giving up and losing jobs. He got a steady job at the dog pound actually and he decided that since the owner provided the dog for free if someone really wanted a puppy, but couldn't pay for it he would pay for the puppy to try and help that person. The moral of the story is never give up and buy a dog.
